Mercer Island Municipal Court recordings page
The Mercer Island Municipal Court court recordings page at mercerisland.gov explains how to request copies of hearing recordings, what fees apply, and how the court's digital recording system works.

To request a recording, contact the municipal court clerk and include the case number and the date of the hearing. Fees may apply for duplication. Recordings are part of the official court record and governed by General Rule 31. The court uses digital recording systems for most proceedings. Requests are handled in the order they are received. If you need a written transcript of a hearing, the court does not prepare these automatically. You would arrange for transcription at your own expense, typically through a certified court reporter.

For case file documents beyond recordings, the court clerk handles all in-person and written requests. If you are a party to a case, you may have access to more of the record than a member of the public. Contact the clerk at (206) 275-7604 to ask about what is available for a specific case.
